The choice of format is yours – from digital illustration and AI-generated art to unique handcrafted works.

Works created with AI tools. You may enhance them with color adjustments, effects, or other post-processing edits, but the base must be AI-generated. Even with AI art, your the final piece should clearly and recognizably belong to the world of Skylore.

🎨Hand-Drawn / Digital Illustration
Original artwork created entirely by you, whether on paper or digitally.

🧶 Crafts
Any physical creation inspired by Skylore, such as figurines, wood carvings, sculptures, embroidery, cosplay props, 3D prints, and more.

📌 Contest Rules
For All Categories:

• The theme is open, but your entry must relate to the world of Skylore
• You may depict characters, monsters, bosses, weapons, armor, locations, or other creatures
• Each participant may submit up to 2 works per category
• Only 1 winning entry per participant per category will be awarded
• No plagiarism, copying, or use of other people's work
• All content must comply with the community guidelines: no toxicity, discrimination, or illegal material

How to Submit:

• Post your entry in this thread and include your in-game nickname
• Specify the category: AI, Illustration, or Craft
• For crafts and traditional artwork, make sure to upload high-quality photos

Ever dreamed of leaving your mark on Skylore? Now's your chance – we're launching a costume design contest! Design an outfit for a Skylore hero, and you could win fantastic prizes – and maybe even see your design featured in-game!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Create your costume using the template we've provided below, then share your finished artwork on our official Discord server in the #art channel using the hashtag #costumeforskylore.

Just keep in mind a few important rules:

- Each participant is limited to one entry.

- All entries must use the provided base template.

- Designs must include both front and back views.

- You will need to create both male and female versions of your costume.

- Feel free to use any medium you choose. Whether that's digital artwork or a traditional sketch with pencil, paint, or marker – it's up to you.

- We may ask for proof that your artwork is yours, so keep some progress sketches handy.

And try to avoid this:

- Copying or using borrowed artwork.

- Replicating existing costumes from other games, movies, or media.

- Modifying existing in-game costumes (such as adding elements, changing colors, etc.).

- Creating offensive designs that violate the Skylore Community Rules – such entries will be removed, and their creators will be muted in the community chats.

What We're Looking For:

- Game Integration: The costume should be both beautiful and feasible in-game (Hint: Hats, boots, and cloaks should be consistent for both male and female versions).

- Originality: Think outside the box! Feel free to draw inspiration from existing outfits in the game, but make sure your design stands out as unique.

- Detailing: Focus on the details and consider how your costume would look on different classes and races.

- Costume Story: Add a little backstory or description to your design – let your imagination run wild!

Here Come the Prizes!

First Place: 10,000 Diamonds + your costume added to the game and awarded to you!

Second Place: 7,000 Diamonds

Third Place: 5,000 Diamonds

The judges may also award some additional prizes for outstanding entries outside the main contest.

Entries open on September 13 and will be accepted through October 4. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded October 10.

By participating, you agree that your design or elements of it may be used in Skylore.

We're excited to announce a short video contest featuring costumes from our game! Share a video showing off your favorite outfit for a chance to win some great prizes!

How to Participate

Create a short video about your favorite costume or gear set and upload it to YouTube Shorts or our Discord server. Whether you want to show off its stunning look in battle, tell its story, or simply explore the lands of Arinar in style, we want you to let your creativity shine!

Participation Guidelines:

- Each participant is limited to one entry.

- Your work must comply with the Skylore Community Rules and should not offend other guilds or players – otherwise, it will be removed, and you will be muted in the community chats.

- If you post your video on YouTube Shorts, we may request a screenshot of your YouTube page to verify ownership.

- Copied or borrowed videos will be disqualified from the contest.

To submit your artwork, post your video or link to it in the #art channel on our official Discord server. Be sure to tag your entry with #shortscontest and include your character's nickname when posting!

Technical Requirements

1) Make sure your videos run for a minimum of 15 seconds.

2) We're looking for crisp, clear image and sound quality, with video resolutions of at least 1080x1920 for 9:16 aspect ratios.

3) Keep your videos free from distortion and true to their original proportions.

4) Your videos should be shareable and embeddable across different platforms.

5) Any form of plagiarism or recurrence of other creators' videos are strictly prohibited.

6) Make sure your videos are available for viewing worldwide.

Here Come the Prizes!

- We will select 5 winning entries, and each winner will receive 1,500 Diamonds and an Activity Season costume of their choice. The full list of costumes can be found in this special section of our Forum: https://forum.skylore.com/index.php?/forum/114-costumes/

Note: SkyPass bonus costumes are not available as a reward for this contest.

Entries will be accepted from July 10 through July 21, and winners will be announced and awarded on July 24.
