    Absalom

Greetings! Introducing a new guild on the block - Absalom! The guild is named after my rather notorious warlock from Warspear-Sapphire. I am the founder of Sithlords on that server, which is the best MC guild to this day. I stopped playing warspear quite a few years ago, but have somewhat recently begun spending a lot of time in Skylore. I aim to make this guild a great and notorious guild similar to how Sithlords was run in warspear (if any of you are familiar with that). We will have an active discord, and eventually cause havoc on the server, farming bosses, spamming arena, and overall having a great time irritating the neighbors. Drop me a line in game @PopRevolt or come say hi on our discord channel which can be found at the bottom of the guild's official website: https://www.absalomguild.com/ Hope to see some early adopters who have faith in my vision and leadership abilities, as I am looking for some assistants to collaborate with and make this guild the best it can be! Cheers!
  3. Awesome! Thank you the update on your hard work. I am happy to see some of the things I suggested are being implemented, espiecally:

    Add Racial skills

I don't really like the idea of the racial skills giving advantage over a certain race. The descriptions of the races during the character creation process already talk about them being skilled at certain things. I don't remember the exact descriptions but I recall one saying the particular race was skilled at archery, one skilled at magic, etc. Those descriptions should be turned into actual stats that are added as small passive bonuses.

    Add Racial skills

Do the character creation choices not have any effects, other then the actual class you choose?
  6. Sounds good! I have submitted mine. 🤗

    trade/selling

I would like a trading system too. They seem to be going with a more simple approach at the moment.

    Control is hard a little...

I personally like the touch controls. Mostly, because it looks very nice with nothing on the screen except the bare essentials. I can see why some might prefer a d-pad though. But judging from AIGRINDs previous work I dont expect to see that implemented.

    Missões no lvl 8

I can see alot of people struggle at this point
  10. Thanks for letting us test it out! Can't wait to play the full release!

    The subtleties of farming monsters

Excellent post. Thank you for all the details!

    Player Economy

Any plans to add a marketplace for players to sell to other players? Or direct exchanges? I think that is fun to have.

    End Game: Open World Bosses

It is a very nice looking area. I am too scared to adventure too far into at the moment! Are we going to see some large scale bosses? So far I have found only mini-bosses.

    Enhancement Transfers

Hi Ollie, Those are nice mechanics, and definitely help with the issue I am referring to. I would like to see it go a step further so the enhancement can be partially moved to a totally new item of same type as well. Just an idea! 😅

    End Game: Open World Bosses

Hi Ollie, Thanks for the response! I just want to clarify, I think PvE on its own is boring, PvE mixed with PvP is what I was suggesting more of, much like what we already have happening in the Grotto!

    Mage is the Best

Please make the mage class overpowered and limit the amount of players using it. Currently it feels rather equal to the other classes and I prefer to be an OP God stunning everyone and killing them like insects. Thank you for the consideration. 😏

    End Game: Open World Bosses

What really stood out to me and made WS such a hidden gem was early on the focus on farming the open world bosses. Prior to dungeons was the best times in WS when fighting over the eye bosses in lab was the most lucrative action. I have already experienced this element again somewhat in Skylore which has been lots of fun, and nostalgic. I hope the dev team will make this a main attraction in the game and keep it profitable. There needs to be end game action other then instanced dungeons and temporary events. For me personally once I enhance my character and reach a powerful state the question is what is left to do? PVP is fun, but if there is no reward other then bragging rights it can get old fast. This is why I loved the difficult areas and hard to get to bosses where if you die you are penalized by having to walk back, and also rewarded with farm time for your party on a much desired boss. Preferably with a focus on smaller size party and not just zergfest. 😉
  18. I tested all classes from both factions, mostly playing with mage. Here is my review at this point: The starting zones for both classes are beautifully crafted, and the story line quests are easy to follow and should prove very helpful to new players. The main issue I have noticed is many people seem to get lost around lvl 8, once the first batch of story line quests run out. From here the game expects you to experiment with leveling/combining/enchanting your equipment but is not 100% clear that this is basically required to get you to level up so you can progress to the next area and proceed with the story line. This may need an extra quest or some form of communication to help people who are not familiar with MMOs such as Skylore or Warspear from getting discouraged and quitting the game before they ever really got started. The end game content had a nice variety. Grinding mobs and daily quests was actually pretty fun, despite that there is a heavy grind to keep leveling equipment. The queue for arena/dungeon/battlefield is a nice feature and provides a good way for players to gather the resources needed to increase mastery. I think they will be much more enjoyable once new maps/modes are added and with a new influx of players to shorten the wait times. I think this game has amazing potential to reach a mass audience and hope the studio will be very strategic on the monetization of the game. The monetization in Warspear was too aggressive and I believe the main factor the game never really reached a wide audience. Once the Pay-2-Win label is applied this automatically pushes many players away from even trying the game. I can see the intent is to sell gems that can be used to purchase a season pass, chests, and gold. I think this a much better direction then Warspear where you could buy everything needed to max out a character from the pay store, wherein Skylore it seems not everything needed is always available just to buy for gems. I would prefer if the IAP were only cosmetic, but I think it is not so bad if gems are used to buy some things that help players to save time. So pay to eliminate some grind, but still very possible to achieve the same results through grinding. (IAP) Pay Store Items - Order of most desired to least desired: Cosmetics Season Pass Quality of Life enhancements; mounts, potions, bag slots, warehouse, etc Pay to save time Items; get around having to grind for those that would rather pay Pay to Win items/Items that are only found in the pay store or bought with gems I would recommend a focus more on the top 3 items, avoid #4, and none of #5. Either way, I can see this game will be amazing and a big time sink for me. Thanks for the hard work, and please let me know if you have any questions about my experience or ideas!!! 🤗

    Enhancement Transfers

A big frustration for me and many other players in WS was amping gear, then leveling up and getting new gear and the old amped equipment becoming obsolete and basically useless. I would love to see in Skylore if that old enchanced gear could be used to level up newer gears and somehow add at least partial enhancement to the new gears. This way you don't feel like you wasted your money enhancing gears that will soon be obsolete. I do not mind paying real money in these games because I enjoy them very much, but if you could provide a way to salvage even 10% of the enhancement and allow it to be moved to the higher level gears that would provide motivation to amp more items knowing if you mistakenly enhance something you can move it to other gear of same type.

    Dungeon flee option

People are using the flee option because the random matchmaking does not make sure a tank and a healer are in the party, so people see only DPS and immediately vote to abandon.

I have found another missing translation, see screenshot:

    Talent Menu Sensitivity

The talent menu is difficult to use at the moment. When trying to select a Talent on the talent tree to view its attributes it will often swipe to the next page of talents rather then open the attributes. I do not know if this is device specific. I am testing with a Samsung S20 ultra.
