New Path of the Faceless level

In the new version of the client, brave explorers of the lands of Skylore will be able to descend even closer to the depths of Tenebris - to the second tier of the Path of the Faceless.

The trading company will stop at nothing to make a profit. Its agents dug too greedily and too deep, creating a union of darkness and bones in the gloom of the Path of the Faceless. But that was only the beginning, for another echo of a powerful entity gained consciousness, eagerly awaiting new guests...

Heroes will be met with a new place for PvPvE battles, secondary and daily tasks, monsters, collapses, and of course a new boss - the Judge, who you can fight by discharging all the altars of the alphas on the location.

The battle with this enemy will definitely not make you bored, because in addition to strengthening the boss from the number of players nearby, in order not to receive colossal area damage, the heroes will have to be in constant motion - gather, scatter and dodge the Judge's abilities. The boss fight will take place in several alternating stages, which will be displayed as a changing color scheme of the creature.

Updated Dungeon Matchmaking

If you like less massive and purely PvE battles, or if your character’s skill level does not yet allow you to visit the Path of the Faceless, there is always the opportunity to go to a Dungeon, especially since with the updated matchmaking system it will be much easier to do so!

Now, as part of the automatic search for characters to go to the Dungeon, with an incomplete group, the system of roles will be used. This means that depending on the number of free places and the composition of the group, your squad will be prioritized with a healer - Alchemist, then a tank - Guardian, if there are no such characters in the original group, and the remaining free slots will be filled with characters of other classes.

In addition, you will no longer need to search for teammates in the chat, because the system will automatically send invitations to characters of the right level with the desired role, even if they are not in the queue for finding a group. Also, the system will prioritize inviting players who have activities for the Dungeon.

We are confident that this will make dungeon crawling much faster and more efficient. In future updates, the system is expected to be improved - new functions and use in other game modes.

 

Raid Scaling

Current guilds, at maximum level, can accommodate up to 22 heroes, however, due to restrictions, not all characters can simultaneously take part in the main guild PvE activity - raids.

We decided to deal with this injustice and conduct a small experiment: in this update, you will be able to fight the Great A'nuin in a squad of up to twenty-two heroes! But remember that with each additional character in the location, the boss will become stronger.

In addition, we have changed the lower limit of the number of heroes required for the battle. Now six characters will be enough to enter this raid.

Based on the results of the experiment, we will make improvements to the mechanics of scaling the characteristics of the boss, if necessary, and apply the tool for expanding the number of participants in the raid for other guild bosses. Also, in connection with such innovations, we plan to make changes to the rating system in raid seasons.

 

New Activity Season

Also, summer has begun today and we traditionally announce the start of a new season of activities "Séance".

Completing quests will give you valuable resources, while Skypass owners will get more rewards and a new unique costume Soulcatcher Robes.

Other Changes

Of course, this time too we could not do without other changes and improvements, here are some that we managed to finish work on:

  • We have added more mannequins to the location, where you can practice your skills before real battles. You can find new training dolls in the Adamantine Caves and on the "Enlightener".
  • The game client has been improved for convenience of play on Fold devices. In the future, we will continue to work in this direction, making the game on such smartphones more comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Increased the area of effect of the poisonous cloud on the raid boss Great A'nuin. Now, the only way to avoid damage from the ability in a boss fight is by moving to special safe zones.
  • Added interactive transitions to raid bosses in the Spider Forest and Crimson Arena locations.
  • Made improvements and corrections to the auto path function.
  • Fixed a bug in the mission at the Swamp Grotto location, due to which the character could not get out into the open world.
  • When you click on a temporal portal in the Adamant Grotto and the Path of the Faceless, you can call up a map of the location to which this portal leads.
  • Parts of costumes purchased in the in-game store with Glory Tokens can now be purchased individually.
  • We made corrections to the sound of some elements of the environment and abilities - removed unpleasant cracking.
  • Guild members with a rank of "novice" can no longer use the reset timer to restore the raid.
  • Now the character does not lose energy points if no reward was received for the battle with a monster or boss.
  • Fixed a number of errors related to crashes from the game when moving to dungeon locations.

waiting for 5 minutes for a tank is bad. 2 dd +tank+healer is a balanced party, but there are other viable compositions.

3 dd + healer is fine

2 dd + 2 healers is fine.

there should be an option to turn off the new filter to find sub optimal parties faster.

and forcing the pilgrim calendar on every entrance into the game is just annoying.

removing the tavern was not a great idea. It could still be used for search of parties for uncommon purposes, like events or pk groups.

the invitation to dg should be disabled when a person is doing quests actively. or at least give us an option to disable it while we are in dynamic areas with daily quests. not everyone wants to be interrupted by a dg from doing quests.

matchmaking isn't bad. it is HORRIBLE! More time waiting for party, party members with huge lvl difference, much lower than my character and now...

bots? We have just been in dungeon with a guardian character who was just running after us without attacking ANYTHING! And it was definitely a bot. He left immediately after final boss died. Normal players don't behave like this.

It is no longer necessary to come here after this last update to say whether it was good or bad, you already know the answer. It is no longer necessary for just one or the other to come and express themselves because now all of us players think equally and the frustration is already the same. Players stopping to play massively, videos of the game being uninstalled, difficulty recruiting new members for guilds because the number of people stopping playing is greater than the number of new players. The last chance we are giving you is this roadmap for 2023, and we sincerely hope that you will deliver what we have been asking for for months and years. No need to describe here because you already know very well!
