We are talking about new additions, fixes and improvements in the new version of the client, thanks to which the gameplay will become more varied, more convenient and more interesting.

Group searching system

Now you can find a team for any adventure in a matter of minutes! We have already detailed the description and operation of the new feature in the developers’ diaries.

Any armour for everyone

Now items of equipment, except for weapons, are no longer tied to the character class and can be used by any hero either in the form of complete sets or in separate parts. What is this for?

To remind you, items of armor of rare (blue) quality, in addition to the attributes of the set, receive an additional one, which can be:

  • Health.
  • Dodge.
  • Class attribute.
  • Armor penetration — for characters specializing in dealing physical damage.
  • Resist reduction — for characters specializing in dealing magical damage.
  • Abilities recharge.

This is true for items of equipment of all types of armor, however, when dropped, some characteristics on different items will have a significantly higher value. For example, the bonus to the "Health" characteristic on heavy armor will give much more health points than the same bonus on the subject of medium and light equipment.

You can see the full ratio of certain characteristics on different types of armor in our table. The higher the value in the table, the greater the bonus to the attribute the item will receive when it is unlocked:

Thus, you have the opportunity to more carefully approach building your character, getting the maximum values for the bonuses necessary for your playstyle or specific adventure.

(!) You can also notice that the name of all accessories has been supplemented with the word "Equilibrium" - so far this is just preparation for the introduction of the following additions to the equipment system, which we will discuss later;)

New inventory functions

Favourite items

Have you dreamed of collecting an additional set of equipment for a long time, but all the time you mistakenly use the necessary items as material to increase the level or just accidentally sell them to the merchant? This is over!

Meet the new inventory feature - add to favorites. Now you can mark items of equipment that are important to you. This will give the system a signal to require you to confirm an action when selling, leveling up, or attempting to discard the item you marked.

We hope that you won't cry over spilt milk as much, after rapid and rash actions with items in your inventory.

Quick comparison indicators

Also, now you can easily determine which items are worth your attention with the help of comparison indicators! Here's a quick tour of their designations:

  • Green arrow — current mastery of this item is higher than the one equipped.
  • Green arrow — maximum mastery of this item is higher than the one equipped.
  • Green and yellow arrow — maximum mastery of this item is higher than the one equipped.

Improving in-game tutorials

From now on, every hero who arrives at Skylore will be able to get all the necessary knowledge about the development of the character and his equipment right in the game! To do this, the "Halls of Enlightenment" have opened their doors in the capitals of Amber and Echo, to which you will be led by side quests.

Within the walls of these institutions, brave travelers will be able to learn all the basics of improving, combining and raising the level of subjects, as well as passing the exam using the knowledge gained.

Arena battle mode — "Defense of the Tower"

Many players are already familiar with this mode, as we’ve introduced it into the game during the Pumpkin Moon 2020.

Let's briefly tell you: at the location, two towers are located opposite each other, each of which belongs to one of the teams. The main task of any team is to destroy the enemy tower faster than opponents can.

After the seasonal event, the mode was sent for revision, and now we are ready to return it to the rotation of Arena maps on an ongoing basis. In doing so, we have made the following changes:

  • Characters within the radius of a friendly tower now gain + 50% damage dealt. This will allow you to turn the tide of the battle in a seemingly hopeless situation.
  • Illusions, spirits, and other summons no longer damage towers, but remain useful in combat, seeking to attack nearby enemies.
  • The time for exiting the combat state at the location has been reduced to 5 seconds. This will open up the ability for the heroes to retreat and quickly regroup, gaining access to increased regeneration, equipment changes and consumables replacement in the quick access slots.
  • The resurrection time of characters has been increased to 15 seconds. Thus, the heroes will need to think over battle tactics more carefully so as not to leave their comrades in the minority, and their tower without protection.

We are sure that with these improvements, the format will become more interesting, and the battles will become much more dynamic!
It is important to note that these changes would not have been possible without the activeness and feedback of the test participants. We will be glad if you keep the tradition up and tell us about your impressions again :)

Arena leagues changes

At the start of beta testing, we launched the Leagues mechanics in the Arena. It allows heroes to participate in battles with opponents with a small spread in skill level, as well as receive useful instant rewards.

During testing, we painstakingly collected statistics on character development and battles in the Arena. Based on it, we decided to add more stages with rewards for each league, as well as change the formula for calculating points for winning and losing in fights.

Thanks to these changes, the heat of battles will noticeably increase, and the heroes will be able to get more valuable treasures!

And yes, we know that you are looking forward to the introduction of the League of Titans, but to open it we need to finalize several new mechanics. We will definitely tell you the details about this unique league later.

Talent changes

We carried out work in the field of balance and bug fixes in the characters' talents, namely:

  • Fixed a bug due to which talents with the "Health" characteristic gave the wrong bonus values - now each talent gives less bonus, but their number has increased.
  • There are fewer talents with different characteristics, but now each talent gives more bonus.

Already learned talents of players will be replaced, you will not need to learn them again!

Such changes are intended to balance the growth of the "Health" attribute, as well as to increase the visibility of the effect of learning the talents of attacking and defensive characteristics.

Abilities and glyphs

We’ve also worked on some changes and fixes for performance of glyphs and character abilities. Here are the main ones:

  • The Sorcerer class's Destruction and Energy Translocation abilities now affect the area, and the player chooses where the illusions will "explode".
  • The "Teleport" ability of the Wizard class now works correctly, there is no more "Blinking" of the character.
  • The "Indomitable" glyph of the Guardian class "Heroic Dash" now correctly reduces the cooldown of the skill.
  • The Hunter class's Spirit Rage now triggers even if the spirit of the beast is far away.
  • The Elixir of Life ability of the Alchemist class now increases health by 20%, but does not restore it.
  • The "Blizzard" glyph of the "Ice Orb" ability of the Sorcerer class now deals magic damage instead of physical.

In addition, we have fixed a bug due to which replaced passive skills continued to operate while inactive.

Other changes and fixes

New tasks in dynamic areas in the Holy Grove

We've added a few new small tasks to the randomly generated list of tasks in the dynamic area, which will allow you to diversify the passage of this activity.

In the future, we will increase the number of possible tasks in the rotation of all existing dynamic regions.

Pillars of death in the Adamant Grotto

We have disabled the work of the Western and Eastern travel spots in the Lower Tier of the Adamant Grotto in order to exclude the possibility of an endless cycle of death of the character at the location.

For now, this is a temporary measure, because we have big plans to update and change the mechanics of the gloomy shelter of the followers of chaos. We will tell you the details later.
