It is time to talk about new features, fixes and improvements in the new version of the client, that will bring even more variety, convenience and fun into the gameplay.

Gorgors’ Contracts

Gorgors’ Contracts are a new PvE mechanic that allows farming various in-game valuables not only on open world locations and Adamant Grotto.

Its mechanics are incredibly simple: starting from character level 4, upon killing monsters in the open world, except for the locations of the Adamant Grotto, and opening chests for completing Dungeons, characters can receive a special item — a contract with a Gorgor. Using this item summons a gorgor-guide that without further ado will ask you to follow into their cache.

Interacting with the cache takes your character to a dedicated location with monsters. For defeating them, players receive items of equipment, as well as an increased amount of knowledge and gold.

The level of enemies at the location depends on the level of the contract used, and it will be equal to the level of the monster from which the reward was received, or the level of the character, if the item was obtained from the Dungeon chest.

The rarity of equipment and the amount of currency received after killing monsters depends on the rarity of the contract. At first, only contracts of common rarity will be available, but we will definitely add other difficulties with more valuable rewards. And yes, in the future, the mode will probably be available for groups, and not just for solo play.

New accessories

To complete contracts with the gorgorushas and succeed in other adventures, you will definitely need a competent approach to the choice of character equipment in order to reveal the strongest sides of your class. We are glad to inform you that for this we have reworked the characteristics of existing accessories and added 56 new items!

So, now accessories can be of three types:

  • Guarding
  • Frantic
  • Balanced

All accessories have two main characteristics - ability strength and resistance. Depending on the type of accessory, the value of these characteristics will differ. You can find out the ratio of bonuses for different types of accessories from the table:

In addition, recall that accessories of rare (blue) quality, in addition to the two main ones and the characteristics of the set, receive an additional one, which can be:

  • Health
  • Critical Strike
  • Critical Strike Power
  • Abilities Recharge
  • Control Resistance
  • Attack Speed Rating

Depending on the type, when rolled, the characteristics on different items will have different meanings. For example, a bonus to the "Health" characteristic on a Guarding accessory will give many more health points than the same bonus on the Frantic and Balanced accessories.

You can see the full ratio of individual characteristics on accessories of different types in our table. The higher the value in the table, the greater the bonus to the characteristic the item will receive when it is opened:

This gives you even more options to customize your character build to suit your playstyle or specific adventure!

Premium shop and services

We are also in a hurry to inform you that we have updated the assortment of the premium store and connected the payment system in test mode for Android clients from Google Play. Now you will have the opportunity to purchase diamonds and exchange them for gold and other resources to enhance and combine your equipment. 

Please note that the payment system is in test mode only for Android clients from Google Play as TestFlight, a service for testing of iOS-applications, have got some limitations. When buying diamonds in a premium store, a real payment will be made in accordance with the License Agreement - https://skylore.com/en/eula 

We remind you that the project is still in development, and we cannot completely exclude the possibility of a reset of progress after the completion of this stage of testing. However, in this case, we promise to reimburse the time spent by each player in the form of bonuses at the release, as well as accrue premium currency if it was purchased during testing.

Skypass: boosts and costumes

With the beginning of April we start not only the new activity season, but also introduce the opportunity to purchase Skypass!

Keep in mind that this opportunity, as well as the payment system, launches in test mode on Android clients from Google Play only. Upon purchasing Skypass, a real payment will be made in accordance with the License Agreement — https://skylore.com/en/eula

Boosts

Season Pass holders will have access to additional rewards for progressing through the Activity Center. Among them you can find not only equipment chests, knowledge, gold, alchemical stones and piles of trophy equipment, but also diamonds and a completely new type of rewards - Boosts.

The boost is a special buff that is applied to the character at the moment of receiving the stage reward. These enhancements are aimed at accelerating character development and are presented in 4 varieties:

  • Thirst for Knowledge — You get 8% more knowledge points for killing monsters and 5% more for completing tasks.
  • Gold Digger — You get 10% more gold for killing monsters and 5% for completing tasks.
  • Increased Concentration — Reduces talent learning time by 5%.
  • Intruder — Reduces the opening time of chests from modes by 5%.

Boosts’ effect lasts throughout the entire activity season and also stacks upon receiving the same boost multiple times. Maximum number of effects — 3.

! Keep in mind that the boosters’ effect does not apply to the current progress, i.e. “Thirst for Knowledge” and “Gold Digger” effects won’t apply to already active quests, while “Increased Concentration” and “Intruder” will not cut down on the duration of already started timers.

Now boosts will only be available in Skypass, but in the future we can add other opportunities to receive them.

Costumes

However, the main cherry on top and the Skypass reward for completing the last stage will be a new type of item - “Pilot's Costume”!

And yes, we've made sure that you can try it on your character before receiving it. Do not forget to complete activities in order to get it in time, because after the end of the season the rewards will change, and the opportunity to get this outfit may no longer be presented!

Of course, we couldn't introduce a costume mechanic just for players who are willing to purchase Skypass. Therefore, now all characters, after completing the first part of the main quest line, will receive a new item - the “Knower's Costume”. For those who already completed the "Coming Storm" and "Disturbing News" quests, we will send the suit by mail.

Abilities and glyphs

We've also made a number of changes and fixes to the work of glyphs and character abilities. Here are the main ones:

  • The Alchemist's Healing Transformation ability now works as described and correctly increases Armor and Resistance by 15%.
  • The Glyph “Swipe” from the Spirit Rage ability of the Hunter class no longer deals damage to the main target.
  • The Healing Burst glyph of the Guardian Barrier ability now applies regeneration to all but the target of the Guardian Barrier spell.

Other changes and tweaks

New tasks for the dynamic area in Factoria

We've again added some new small tasks to the dynamic area's randomly generated task list. This time - to the Factoria location. We hope you enjoy the new variations of the daily quests.

As we've mentioned earlier, in the future you will find not only new dynamic regions, but also even more possible tasks in the rotation of already existing dynamic regions.

Character development and gameplay

We have made adjustments to the calculations and values related to character development and existing activities and tried to make the gameplay as balanced as possible in accordance with the current in-game economy. Major changes: 

  • Adjusted the amount of gold and knowledge points received by characters for various game activities.
  • Changed the amount of alchemy stones required to combine equipment.
  • Adjusted prices in gold and knowledge points for goods and game services.
  • Changed the time and cost, as well as the principle of their calculation for the study of talents.
  • Adjusted the amount of alchemy stones required to combine equipment.
  • Increased the effectiveness of piles of trophy equipment - now they will become much more valuable and will give more progress as you level up your items.
  • The maximum health of monsters has been increased by 10% - now the fights with them should become more interesting and balanced.
  • The character's health was doubled upon revival, now the value is 20% of the maximum health total.

We also fixed a bug due to which players received incorrect values for the characteristics of "Resistance" and "Armor Penetration" when combining and leveling up an item. On items created and improved before the fix, the characteristics will be recalculated and will give the correct bonuses.
