Celebrate the holiday of the Gorr people - the Fire Harvest!

The rebellion of the spirit of the bowels in the Burning Plateau has left an impression on all the inhabitants of Kragg and demonstrated the complete helplessness of the priests of the flame in the face of the threat of the fire element. Soon the level-headed and short-spoken priests were erased from history, and they were replaced by a new cult known as the Flame Eaters. Driven by the iron will of Pyros, these eccentric pyromaniacs have established themselves as extremely effective tools in the fight against elementals, despite their excessive desire for destruction.

The arrival of the Flame Eaters could not pass unnoticed by Groglan IV, ruler of Kragg. He decided not to exterminate the newly formed cult, but to put them at his service. Through many long negotiations with Pyros, an agreement was reached, according to which the Flame Eaters became part of Kragg's forces, completely obeying the will of the monarch. The payment for such force turned out to be high: most of the deep complexes of Kragg became the fiefdom of pyromancers, where nothing could protect a hapless traveler from the fury of fire. In addition, the Gorr calendar has been given an unusual holiday - the Fire Harvest, designed to allow the Flame Eaters to unleash all their destructive power.

The Fire Harvest itself can be described as controlled combustion: any building or creature within its boundaries is likely to be reduced to ash. Fire whirlwinds, devouring elementals and volcanic eruptions are just a few of the spectacles that can appear before the gaze of observers who dare to attend the deadly dangerous festival.

"Knockout": a new format of battle in the Arena

We also offer to celebrate the fiery triumph of the Gorrs on Fire Lake - the location of a new battle format in the Arena.

It is no secret for us that among all the existing formats of combat, the “Deathmatch” has found popularity veneration. However, you must admit that he has a significant disadvantage: after a loss, there is no way to give the opposing team a revenge, rallying his strength and improving his tactics. "Knockout" is meant to fix it!

"Knockout" is a battle format in which two teams of 3 people fight each other at the location for several rounds.

The goal of each round is to defeat all the characters on the opposing team. For winning the round, the team receives 1 point. To win the battle, the team needs to score 2 points.

A round lasts 90 seconds. If during this time the goal is not achieved, then the outcome of the battle is determined by calculating a special value - "Advantage". It takes into account the damage and healing done to team members and reflects their overall combat contribution to the battle.

P.S. Thank you for the many interesting thoughts and ideas for new combat formats that we received from you after the location teaser for this new item. We will definitely use them in our work on the further development of the Arena :)

Contracts with the Gorgors

We've added a new difficulty for the Gorgors Contract locations. You can get to them with the help of contracts of "unusual" quality.

On locations you will find not only stronger and more dangerous monsters, but also bosses with unique abilities, behavior mechanics and appearance!

Of course, such a trial requires worthy rewards: for the successful completion of the contract, you will receive even more gold and knowledge, as well as more valuable equipment.

We remind you that you can get the "Deal with the Gorgors" item from the chest for completing Dungeons and for killing monsters in the open world, except for the locations of the Adamant Grotto. The better the chest - the greater the chance to get the coveted item, and the greater the chance that its quality will be "unusual"!

In addition, we have fixed some bugs in this mechanic that you discovered during a recent challenge. Now everything works as planned: contracts are used and spent in the inventory correctly, monsters do not disappear, and characters can freely leave the location by talking to the gorgors.

Do not forget to tell us about the oddities you noticed and your ideas for improving this mode so that we can make it even more convenient and fun ;)

Other useful new features and improvements

Character deletion

We have improved the process of deleting a character. Now, after you confirm this action, the hero does not disappear from the list immediately, and can be restored within a certain time. This time is displayed on the character's card and depends on their mastery level: the higher it is, the more time you will have to recover.

While the character is in the process of being deleted, they do not disappear from the list of friends of other heroes. Also, the progress of studying talents and opening chests is not interrupted: this will allow you to avoid unnecessary losses during recovery.

Also, the removed hero will still occupy one cell on the start screen. Therefore, keep in mind: if you have created the maximum number of heroes, then you will not be able to create a new one immediately after deleting.

Location change in Dungeons

Now the Dungeons map will change as often as the main boss - with each update of the mode.

In the future, we plan to work on balancing the difficulty of Dungeons, as well as introduce new mechanics that will let delving be more fun and get nice bonuses.

New tasks for the Dynamic Areas

We continue to improve and expand Dynamic Areas. This time, two areas at the location "Gloomy swamp" acquired new tasks.

As a result, we added 21 new tasks: 3-4 in each of the three states of dynamic zones.

In the future, we plan to continue to develop this direction of content in order to add even more variety to the everyday worries of the heroes.

Abilities and glyphs

We've made a number of changes and fixes to how glyphs and character abilities work. Here are the main ones:

  • The Burning effect of the Fire Destruction glyph of the Wizards' class Destruction ability now works correctly.
  • The Blizzard glyph of the Wizard's class Frozen Orb ability will now always trigger as described.
