As the days grow longer and the heat fills the air, it is time to praise the sun. Despite the march of progress, the people of Archeon still gather for fairs on the day of the summer solstice. The most extravagant celebration unfolds in New Oltgard, where the celestial body above holds a special place in their hearts.

Here, the Summer Solstice Festival takes center stage, drawing larger crowds and ever more lavish decorations with each passing year. At the heart of the festivities are the Sun Priests, luminous masked clerics. Legend has it that they spend the entire year preparing, so that at midsummer they can regale the crowds with tales of an ancient sun deity, outshining even the brightest bonfires.

With the first light of dawn, the priests begin their ceremonies and ritual dances, and high at noon, they reach skyward, casting a radiant glow over everything in their midst.
