From a letter by Elinore Bac, Ethnographer:
"My dearest Bard,
You can't imagine how the Gray Mountains of Irselnort – so cold and forbidding, much like their horned inhabitants – are utterly transformed when the Festival of Summer Dawn arrives!

The sheer stone walls, usually indistinguishable from the cliffs surrounding them, seem to spring to life. From the cracks in the weathered rocks, thousands of flowers burst forth, splashing the landscape with vibrant color. Even the Gorrs themselves change, donning festive attire adorned with fresh blossoms, and letting smiles bloom on faces once set in stone. These are the days when more weddings and betrothals are celebrated here than at any other time of year.

But after a single week, the colors fade and the mountains slip back into their familiar gray silence. Scholars still puzzle over the cause of this sudden, synchronized blooming. For now, I'm sending you a traditional Gorr festival costume – may it spark new songs in your heart..."
