The nomadic Muareg tribes wander, guided by their patron – Anbu, the last god of a civilization swallowed by the sands millennia ago.
Since time immemorial, Anbu has spoken through the dreams of the matriarchs, bestowing wisdom beyond measure. It was he who taught the Muaregs to find hidden oases, to chart their course by the stars, and to read the shifting dunes as omens of what is to come. At times, his visitations came as warnings – foretelling disaster, war, or the loss of the tribe's most vital members.
But in recent years, the matriarchs have only dreamed of dread. They see black dunes beneath a starless sky... and Anbu himself, silent, veiled in violet light.
