Many of Arinar’s legends were forgotten, as was the legend of one of the unknown king’s offspring, that desired more than the fate of a bastard. By mastering the deadly power of frost and subjugating legions of the dead to his will, he became a threat to all of Arinar’s inhabitants. Still, despite his power, the cold knight was defeated and buried in the lands, once known as the Snow Boundary.

Time went on and the Great Cataclysm has shaken the world. Magic was gone from Arinar, and with it — the strength of the seals, holding the power of the knight even after death. Solitary crypt in the ice has opened its gates, waiting for the madman to don the armor of true ice.
