We talk about the novelties, improvements and changes in the new version of the client, aimed at improving the comfort and functionality of the game and some interface, as well as the interest and dynamics in game modes.

 

Notifications Center

In order for you not to forget to perform the actions necessary to advance in leveling your character in a timely manner, we have developed a new mechanic - the “Notifications” interface.

With its help, you will always know about the opportunity to learn a new talent, won't forget to collect rewards from the Battlefield or the Activity Center, and also won't lose valuable time to open the chest for winning modes.

 

Rewards in chests

Speaking of chests! We've reworked their contents so there will be fewer items of much greater value now, and it will increase more noticeably as the level and quality of the chest increases.

Changes apply to chests from:

  • Arenas and Dungeons
  • Battlefields
  • Activity Center and SkyPass
  • Locations of the Adamantine Caves
  • Awards Calendar

In addition, all chests now have possible bonus rewards in the form of additional currency, and sometimes in the form of resources for developing equipment.

It's time to go search for and obtain valuable treasures!

 

Autopath and navigation

The ability to build a path and automatically move to all the marks on the map, but within the current location, will help you find the way to your favorite farming place.

These can be both merchants and transitions to other locations, as well as waypoints, even if you have not activated them yet and cannot teleport.

In addition, a lot of new markers have appeared on the map, which will greatly expand your navigational capabilities and help you explore the world. Among these are:

  • Settlements
  • Ruins
  • Dynamic Regions
  • Wilderness with monsters
  • Sights

And on the locations of the adamant grotto, markers appeared for building a path and automatically moving to the altars of the leaders.

These innovations will allow you to unleash your potential as an explorer and comfortably move around the world of Arkeon.

 

Guilds

Raids

Among the travelers there were many brave heroes who dared to enter A'nuin's lair and fight her.
As we continue to prepare the next bosses, we carefully reviewed the raid statistics. Based on the received data, it was decided to make balance changes to the power of A'nuin and her abilities:

  • The defensive and attacking characteristics of the boss have been increased.
  • The maximum number of safe areas during the use of the Poison Mist ability has been reduced to 4.
  • Damage of all boss abilities increased
  • The amount of damage returned by the boss to players during the use of the Barbed Carapace ability in the Hard A'nuin encounter has been increased to 45%.

Guild UI Update

We've also made changes to various guild-related interfaces to make them more user-friendly and functional:

  • The button for leaving the guild will now only be displayed in the “Info” tab.
  • Added a 10 second countdown timer dialog that appears after pressing the button to leave a guild.
  • The guild icon no longer moves when participating in a raid boss fight.
  • The exit button from the raid will work the same way as when exiting matches in in-game modes. If the player has not collected the reward after the end of the raid, then pressing the button will bring up a warning dialog and start a countdown timer.

We hope that with these changes, the boss battle will become more interesting and exciting, and the use of guild interfaces will become even more comfortable.

 

Gamemodes Changes

Arena

During the Pumpkin Moon event last year, the Tower Defense battle format received a temporary thematic update. Details about the mechanic can be found in our article - 

 

The temporary mechanics introduced helped add more dynamics and interest to the format, so we decided to bring them back on a permanent basis.

Destroy Spooky Sprouts to damage the enemy tower and destroy it faster than your opponents, and don't forget to use the power of Spirits to get a powerful boost and defeat your rivals!

 

Dungeon

We've made a number of changes to the Thorn Hollow dungeon to reduce the difficulty of the mode in this location:

  • The total number of rooms in the location will now always be the same as in the “Main Assembly Complex” - this will allow you to find your way to the main boss much faster.
  • The abilities of monsters that impose silence have been reworked - there are fewer of them, and the remaining ones work with the mechanics of void zones visible to the player, running out of which you can avoid a negative effect.

In addition, we have made a number of changes to the overall balance of dungeons for all locations to make delves more fun and interesting. The stats of the monsters have been changed so that you feel the difference between the battle with the boss and the battles with ordinary monsters in the dungeon rooms.

New season of activities

Of course, along with the update, a new season of activities, the Mushroom Equinox, became available in the game.

Complete tasks and get valuable resources to develop your character, and for Skypass owners, the final reward of the month will be a unique costume - Cryptogamic Cover.

Pop-up notifications

You can’t be online all the time, but sometimes a few minutes timely devoted to certain mechanics can greatly speed up the progress of character development. It is for such purposes that push notifications are intended, which are automatically sent to your device by the application.

We fixed a number of bugs and cleaned up this tool so that you can only receive correct information about the status of in-game timers when triggering events.

In addition, clicking on certain notifications will take you to the interface for the action so that you do not have to make unnecessary movements and do not forget why you launched the game.

Note! After the changes are implemented, we will need time to set up the system, so alerts will start working within a week.

 

Other novelties, changes and improvements

And of course, the new version of the client includes many small but no less important fixes and changes in mechanics, interfaces and gameplay. Here is the main list:

  • Changes have been made to the operation of abilities that apply the “Invisibility” effect to the character - now, after exiting the state, the character cannot receive this effect for the next 5 seconds.
  • The cost of clearing Corrupted items from the Adamantine Caves now depends on their level.
  • The stats of all world bosses in the Adamantine Caves now increase over the course of a fight with them - the longer the fight goes on, the stronger the boss becomes. Prior to the update, only Decayra had this mechanic.
  • Dynamic exits from the locations of the Adamantines Caves are now synchronized - they appear for all players in the same place and at the same time.
  • A long press on a pinned ability or belt-mounted items now brings up an interface with detailed information.
  • The number of attempts for Battlefield mode is reduced to 3.
  • The distribution of victory points in Battlefield mode has been changed: now, in a battle of everyone for themselves - only three players get a reward, in a battle of squads of two - two teams get a reward, and in a battle of squads of three or four - only one team gets the prize.
  • Using the autopath in the Adamantine Caves locations will take the character to the nearest valid exit at the time the path is triggered, but will not interact with it.
  • Fixed the bug in several quests where the autopath would lead the character to the center of the quest area, and not to the quest objective. Please let us know if this happens again.
  • When building a path to the goal of a task, all the necessary transitions between locations are marked on the map.
  • When you add a player to the black list, you will automatically stop seeing messages sent by other characters on their account.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the name of the guild was not displayed above the character immediately after creation.
  • Changes have been made to the client launch procedure, due to which the game will not start if its files are modified from outside.
  • Fixed a bug in the mission "Chaos Among Us", which led to the impossibility of further continuation.
  • Clicking on the level icon no longer causes the character to move sideways.
