Are there channels on maps?

In the pvpve zone or in any zone are there different channels? I mean, more than one version of that map? Where a boss is alive in one map but dead in another?

Is it possible to manually change channels?

Yes, there are channels in the pvpve zone too - you can get to it only if the previous one is full.

You cannot make a controlled movement between the channels.

Yeah, but how to approach partying with people in the world chat to kill Champions and they not being in the same channel as me? I'm currently trying to manipulate by login in and out, without much success...

IMO, these Champion areas should be treated differently.
