Yet her true passion lay elsewhere: in the study of night magic. More than simple scholarship, she sought a way to fuse two seemingly incompatible elements. This ambition became the focus of her thesis, weaving the spells she created into her own mantle, dyeing it a deep blue. At her final defense, Esther faced four elementals. When the fire elemental surged forward, she raised a Lunar Shield, siphoning away its heat and reducing it to a dull ember. The water elemental followed, unleashing crashing waves, but Esther countered with the Ebbtide spell, casting her foe back. The remaining elementals were lulled into slumber, wrapped in the shroud of the Night Veil. Naturally, Esther earned the highest honors – and an invitation to lead a course of her own. By the following spring, the Tower brimmed with students wrapped in blue robes adorned with lunar sigils.

Разумеется, Эстер получила не только высший балл, но и предложение вести собственный курс. И уже к следующей весне Башню заполонили студенты в синих мантиях с лунными символами.
