  1. Step Into the Arena This activity has been removed and will no longer appear Because every activity has to force a player to gain experience. As if it wasn't bad enough to have 10+ level gap between players with same mastery on arena, now that gap will be even bigger. You didn't make those tasks easier. You first made those tasks harder and then dialed down slightly. To new players and to players with weak memory I will remind that: Hoarder - could be easily done by opening various chests. Not just arena and dungeon chests, but a blacksmith chest, which was REMOVED from the guild shop. You could even buy white equipment from merchants! And it wasn't a bug. It was a clever way to save time. A know-how in the game about knowers! Those who figured it out, could enjoy the easy task, but you had to ruin it! Even that gas mask quest item in dynamic area in factorium counted towards this task Locksmith - was much easier when we didn't have keys! You could open chests in queue just by waiting a few hours. But if you get this task near server evening when you don't have keys, you will have to wait till tomorrow to have your keys replenished. With chest queue you could have multiple chests ready to be opened. So the schedule of when you are doing arenas and dungeons was more flexible! Collector - are you kidding me? We had the ability to upgrade items from white to green! And we had roughly one green chest from arena/dungeon per day for free, just because we had the chest queue. Now you need a special key to open green chest to get that green piece of gear, because otherwise you will need to grind A LOT untill that item drops from some monster! Smell of trouble wasn't even difficult. That's just cosmetic change to the game. Most players wouldn't even notice! The only good thing is that you finally fixed the shop UI. It only took you six months! I've been warning people about this UI trap every day for HALF a year! Did you figure out that it was no longer effective as a method to trick players into buying your stuff by accident? How about compensation to all the victims? I still have a lootbox that I didn't intend to buy. I kept it in my warehouse for six months! How much more proof do you need that it was accidental purchase? And some players lost 1500 diamonds by accidentally buying costumes! And you have the audacity to call it "store enhancement"! As if you didn't mess it up first, as if the original UI was bad. No, that is not an enhancement. You merely fixed an error that you made 6 months ago! Your "enhanced" store UI is still inferior to what we had in 2024. You didn't even make the shop UI good. The original version was in a form of a book with bookmarks. It was very lore friendly. The new version is basically tiles over blurry background. How about you fix the pathfinding on abandoned shooting range because powerups can only be approached and picked up from northern direction How about you fix the sinister graveyard so that ANY attack interrupts gathering of the ghost powerups? And return the blacksmith chest to guild shop! And remove the prohibition to enter arena if inventory is full. Throwing away chests after every battle is not fun. It ruins the flow of arena spam. Also, you INCREASED the repair cost of equipment on lower levels. It was 180 gold per item, now it is 300 gold to repair from the same amount of damage. Seriously, this is just petty.

  3. Skylore 2.0 – Changelog Heroes, the Skylore team is back with some of the most exciting news to date! Just look at this – our changelog scroll is so long it nearly brushes the ground! And you know what that means: there's a lot to unpack. So make yourself comfortable and join us as we walk you through all the changes and additions coming in Update 2.0. New Forge Mechanics & Equipment Upgrade Resources Transmutation Introducing a new way to upgrade your resources! With transmutation, you can now convert lower-quality resources into higher-quality ones, such as dust or talent books. Transmutation unlocks at character level 7. Note that each transmutation attempt has a chance of success. If the chance is less than 100%, it will be displayed beforehand. If a transmutation fails, the original item remains unchanged. When transmuting multiple items, the chance of success is calculated for each item individually. Universal Stones The previous three types of Alchemy Stones have been combined into a single Universal Stone, simplifying both inventory management and resource gathering. Amplification Amplification allows you to enhance the attributes of your equipment. Available from level 7, this feature is found in the Hero's Path and applies only to items in your inventory or currently equipped. Successful amplification increases the item's core attributes: β€’ Weapons: Physical or Magic Damage β€’ Helmets, Gloves, Boots, Armor, Shields: Armor and Attack Power β€’ Amulets, Cloaks, Rings, Earrings: Resistance and Ability Power Each successful amplification also increases the item's Mastery, contributing to its overall performance. The success rate for amplification depends on the item's current amplification level – higher levels come with lower chances of success. On success, the amplification level increases by one. On failure, the level may either drop by one or remain unchanged. However, progress is protected by minimum thresholds that amplification cannot fall below. To amplify an item, you'll need: β€’ Gold β€’ Ethereal Dust β€’ Optionally: β€’ Protection Sphere: Prevents downgrade on failure β€’ Luck Sphere: Prevents downgrade on failure and increases the chance of success All resources are consumed regardless of the outcome. Ethereal Dust is a new resource used exclusively for amplification. It can be obtained by killing monsters or from bundles and chests in the in-game store. Reforging Reforging no longer re-rolls all item attributes. Instead, you can now select a specific attribute to modify. Attributes can be adjusted – increased or decreased – without changing their type. Thanks to an updated attribute generation system (covered in a separate section below), reforging is now more flexible than ever. Once you select an attribute to change, all other attributes are locked for that attempt. You can preview the possible result and discard the changes if you prefer to keep the original version. The number of modifiable attributes has also been increased across item rarities: β€’ Common: No modifiable attributes β€’ Uncommon: 1 modifiable attribute β€’ Rare: 2 modifiable attributes β€’ Epic: 3 modifiable attributes Reforge cost increases with each attempt, even if you discard the result. To reforge an item, you'll need Alchemy Stones, Adamantine Crystals, Gold, and Knowledge. This feature unlocks at character level 12. Enhancement Transfer Starting from level 15, you can now transfer amplification and hardening levels between items. β€’ Amplification transfers partially, depending on the tier and quality differences between the two items. Use a Transfer Sphere to improve the efficiency of the transfer β€’ Hardening transfers only if a Transfer Sphere is used. The source item is destroyed after the transfer – use with care! Equipment Talents Equipment Talents are a new system designed to maximize the potential of your items. They determine which types of equipment a class can wear and grant bonus attributes, allowing you to lock in builds that suit your preferred playstyle. Unlocked at level 5, equipment talents are divided into three categories: β€’ Weapons – Determines what types of weapons your class can use β€’ Armor – Covers helmets, gloves, armor, and boots β€’ Accessories – Covers rings, earrings, amulets, and cloaks Armor and accessories are divided into three types, each with its own set of attributes. Your character can only specialize in two of these three types. Talents have multiple levels, each of which must be learned separately. The number of levels can vary from talent to talent. Learning new talent levels provides your character with various benefits: Item Usage – Allows you to equip specific items Equipment Enhancement – Increases the Item Power of your gear, improving its overall strength Attribute Bonuses – Grants bonus attributes to any equipped item of a specific gear type Veteran characters will enjoy a head start, as all previous progress is automatically applied to their talent development. Equipment Rating All equipment now features a new attribute – Equipment Rating – that reflects an item's overall strength. The higher it is, the stronger the item's base attributes. You can view each item's Equipment Rating and average values in the Attributes section of your character profile. Manuals and Encyclopedias To unlock and upgrade equipment talents, you'll need manuals and encyclopedias. Manuals are used to unlock item usage and increase Equipment Rating. Manuals and encyclopedias are grouped by item type: β€’ Armor β€’ Accessories β€’ Weapons You can obtain them through various in-game activities. Higher-quality resources can also be created through transmutation. New Loot Distribution System & Equipment Attribute Generation Update 2.0 introduces a complete overhaul of loot distribution in Skylore. Epic items can now be obtained as rewards from a wide range of in-game activities, not just as rare drops. In addition, loot tables have been updated to include new equipment, transmutation materials, and amplification resources. We've also expanded the attribute system by introducing new secondary attributes for all equipment. Uncommon-quality items now come with one random secondary attribute, while higher rarities gain one additional attribute per rarity tier. Items obtained before Update 2.0 will also receive a random secondary attribute, which can be rerolled through reforging. And there's more: secondary attributes now roll within a variable range rather than being fixed. This means that reforging an attribute might increase or decrease its value within that range. New Equipment Attributes We're reimagining class roles in Skylore. Rather than limiting each class to a narrow identity, we're introducing new attributes that allow for more diverse builds and open up exciting new strategies.
