Molly
Grand musical scores have long been the backdrop to warfare on Archeon, with military bands playing alongside soldiers in nearly every major conflict. But with large-scale wars fading into the past, and the rise of guild battles and tournaments still in its early stages, the military orchestra has found a new purpose – performing for the public. At a vibrant concert held in Amber this fall, the orchestra unveiled not only new music but a striking new look. Designed by Manuel the Hyena, the uniforms are a masterclass in detail, with perfectly tailored outfits and eye-catching touches, like a drum-shaped shako that quickly became a crowd favorite. The change didn't stop with the uniforms – the musicians also embraced new instruments, such as bass guitars and synthesizers. Though the shift was initially met with some resistance from commanders, the musicians' enthusiasm was contagious, and their performances now have the energy of a rock concert, blending battle and harmony in a whole new way.
