[2020.10.01] Update 0.31.0: changes and server restart

Hello there, friends! :Hello_Nibbler:

We’ve prepared an update! It includes changes to the system of loot from monsters, class balance, combat system, economy and also content.

You will be able to check out everything today, after the server restart.

The game will be unavailable for at least an hour, starting at 17:00 GMT. Please don’t plan anything important in the game at that time ;)

Please keep in mind that some fixes, particularly the interface update, will only appear after you download the new client from Google Play and TestFlight. The new version 0.31.0 will become available in the coming days.

Loot from monsters

We’ve made some changes that will let you play as much as you want!

In the menu of information about the character a new parameter has been added — “Vigor”. It is reduced when killing monsters. After Vigil reaches 0, the character receives the “Fatigue” effect that limits receiving rewards for hunting monsters.

Vigor points restore over time and also after winning an Arena battle or successfully completing Dungeons. The effect of Fatigue is lifted when the hero restores at least a quarter of maximum amount of Vigor points.

We are planning on creating a more convenient display of the Vigil bar, but we don’t rule out changes to the mechanic itself either.

 

Class rebalance

We’ve analyzed the statistics and made changes to skills and their glyphs for some classes in order to balance battles in PvP and PvE.

  • Alchemist: lowered the duration of the “Burning” effect on glyphs in skills.
  • Hunter: doubled the influence of the “Instinct” parameter on increasing the duration of animal spirits lifespan.
  • Shadow: increased the cooldown of the “Thousand Blades” and lowered the duration of the “Poison” negative effect.
  • Mage: reduced the duration of the “Burning” effect of the “Combustion” Glyph of the “Fireball” skill.

Changes to the combat system

We’ve corrected the influence of equipment parameters on the skill power, as well as on the positive and negative effects. Now battles with players and monsters will be more dynamic and interesting.

  • The «Burning», «Poison», «Bleeding», «Regeneration», «Barrier» and «Drain» effects were lowered in base power, but the influence of the “Attack power” and “Ability power” parameters was increased to the effect of some of them.
  • Lowered the influence of the “Ability power” parameter on the effect of skills of all classes.
  • Lowered the combat movement speed of all monsters. 

 

Changes in economics

  • Lowered the costs of repairing equipment
  • Changed the costs for combining and enhancing items.
  • Fixed the amount of improvement coins needed to raise levels of items of different equipment types.
  • Increased the amount of gold and knowledge points received from all sources.
  • Increased the amount of gold and knowledge points received from killing monsers in the Adamantine Grotto.
  • Increased the chance of receiving trophy equipment for killing leaders in the Adamantine Grotto.

Changes to the Lower level of the Adamantine Grotto

We’ve made it so you can explore this content earlier!

  • Now the location is available at character level 9.
  • Minimum monster level is lowered to 11.
  • Recommended level of the repeatable quests is changed.

 

Changes to the interface

Pressing on the level opens a new screen with the base information about your hero: main parameters, exact mastery points that you have at this moment as well as the number of points you need to possess to advance in level.

This change will appear only in the latest client version — 0.31.0. You will be able to download it as soon as it comes to Google Play and TestFlight.

P.S. Also, we did not forget about expanding the number of spots for new participants. We are sending out new invites every day and will continue gradually expanding the testing.

The game is in closed beta, meaning that you need an invite to join the testing. Please register on our website and wait for your invite - it should come soon enough, as we're constantly expanding the roster of testers.

Now we are testing the game with the next requirements:

  • mobile devices with Android 5.0 or higher and iOS 9.0 or higher
  • 1 GB RAM and 1 GB available space on your device
