Skylore 1.28 – Changelog

Warriors! In this changelog, we're going to dive into the new Skylore Update 1.28, starting with the highly anticipated Guild Tournament. We've already covered the Guild Tournaments in the previous article – and now we're ready to share even more thrilling details!

Guild Tournament

The Guild Tournament is an exciting seasonal ranked event that pits guilds against each other in large-scale PvP battles in a special arena. This mode provides a unique opportunity for guilds to showcase their strength and tactical prowess without being limited by the number of participants or the level of the location.

Registration

Before the tournament begins, guilds must register by selecting a region and confirming their participation, which consumes Guild Energy. Region selection determines the time slots available for battles, allowing each guild to match up with the best schedule and the most players.

Each region will have its own tournament bracket and set of winners. In addition, medals earned will indicate the region in which they were earned. In the future, the number of regions and their schedules may change based on your feedback and the data we collect. However, the following regions will be introduced in the first season:

America — battles are held between 01:00 UTC and 04:00 UTC

Asia — battles are held between 13:00 UTC and 16:00 UTC

Europe — battles are held between 17:00 UTC and 20:00 UTC

Battle Preparation

Battles take place daily throughout the season. Before each match, you can choose the most convenient time slot for that day. The system will automatically schedule the battle at the most convenient time for both competing guilds, and if the time slots do not match, the system will choose a compromise time between the two options.

As the scheduled time approaches, you'll learn about your opposing guild, allowing you to prepare for battle. Battles consist of several rounds, with short pauses in between for rest and strategy discussions. During these pauses, Guild Leaders must confirm participation in the next round, and can kick a player out of the next round if they are unable to participate or are running late.

Now, let's take a closer look at the challenges that await you in the first season of the Guild Tournament! Season One will feature a new mode – Soul Capture. To win in this mode, you must kill enemy players and capture zones that will increase the number of points you earn for kills. Check out the in-game help section for more details on this new mode, scoring mechanics, and round summaries!

Rewards

Brave warriors should be rewarded! You'll earn trophies for your victories in battle, and those who place high on the ladder will receive special end-of-season prizes. In addition to the usual rewards, honored warriors will receive medals and honors, both personal and guild. But there is no resting on your laurels, as each new season will challenge you to prove your supremacy once again!

Mark your calendars to make sure you don't miss out on the first Tournament:

Registration: From 14.06 22:00 UTC to 16.06 21:59 UTC

Battles: From 16.06 22:00 UTC to 23.06 21:59 UTC

Rewarding: From 24.06 22:00 UTC to 25.06 21:59 UTC

New Statuses: Turncoats & Renegades

We've heard your concerns about potential unfair behavior in our seasonal guild competitions. To ensure fair play, players who switch guilds mid-season will receive a penalty status of Turncoat or Renegade. We want to keep these transitions flexible so that guilds can make some adjustments to their rosters during the season, but with limits.

A character who leaves or is kicked out of an active guild during the season will be marked as a Turncoat until the end of the season. They will still be able to participate in activities and earn rewards, but a guild cannot have more than five such characters participating in Hunt or Tournament battles.

If a Turncoat switches guilds again within the same season, their status will change to Renegade. Renegades will not be allowed to participate in ranked activities and will not be eligible for rewards for the remainder of the season.

Also, as part of this change, guild members with the Newbie rank will now be able to participate in Hunts and Tournaments, with the new Turncoat and Renegade statuses replacing the previous restrictions.

Class Balance Tweaks

Our goal is for every hero to thrive uniquely in Skylore's rich and diverse universe! That's why we've refined a number of skills based on statistics, your feedback, and suggestions. Let's take a closer look at what's new:
