The fights are brutal, and those who lose rarely walk away of their own accord. While weapons are frowned upon, fighters rely on magical modifications and potions to transform their bodies in extraordinary ways. Some push their speed to such extremes that they age visibly within minutes, others summon ghostly limbs, and some grow instant spiky armor over their wounds. But none is as feared and revered as the three-time champion dubbed Toxic Fist, whose veins course with Archeon's deadliest toxins, delivering strikes as devastating as a landslide. Despite the authorities' best efforts to shut down these illegal arenas, new ones continue to spring up, drawing eager spectators in droves.
