Molly
Hey Warriors! You may remember our previous feature on one of Arinar's artists. Today, we're excited to shine the spotlight on Skylore's chief costume designer and sticker maker extraordinaire – Notch! The author's opinion may not necessarily reflect the opinion of the developers and is not the official position of the Skylore team. What's your main character's nickname? At first, I wanted to name my character Aurum, and I used that name during the early alpha tests. But when the first public beta test launched, I switched to Notch. It just seemed to fit my character's race and playstyle perfectly. How long have you been playing Skylore? I discovered Skylore on January 27, 2019. That was the day my request to join the test phase was accepted, and I've been an active player ever since. What is your favorite game class? Why is that? I absolutely love playing Mage. I love its abilities, especially the high damage output combined with the ability to vanish quickly. That said, I often play Shadow because it has its own unique traits and tactical advantages that I enjoy. Any mode, activity, or even an in-game costume you're fond of? I've always enjoyed doing dungeon runs with orlov_007. He has a knack for getting our party to the boss quickly and efficiently, which makes the whole experience more exciting. As for costumes, the Scavenger Kit is my favorite. Sadly, I haven't been lucky enough to get it yet, despite my many attempts to snag it from sale chests. Do you have a favorite game location? My favorite location is the Scorched Highlands. I'm captivated by its fiery atmosphere mixed with the remnants of life that linger there. It even inspired me to write a short story about the game, detailing its beauty and ambiance. Do you have any hilarious or standout Skylore moments to share? I've had plenty of memorable moments, but what stands out most is the time spent with my friend, who I introduced to the game and who now ranks among the top players. We used to farm Soul Shards and test out mob mechanics together. Those were truly golden times, full of fun and discovery. What do you enjoy depicting most in your artwork? I really enjoy creating little stories with player characters, drawing them in a cartoon style and tweaking their original appearances to add some humor and originality. It's something I really enjoy doing, and it gives me a fresh perspective on the game. Thanks to Notch for sharing with us! If you'd like to see some of this artist's work, check out the images below. If the world of Skylore inspires you as much, feel free to share your artwork in the #art channel on our Discord server! Our best wishes for Notch's continued success! See you in the game!
