If you stay in the skin of a beast for a long time, who knows if you'll ever come back as a human, and if you'll ever come back at all. As ardent defenders of nature, shifters used to sabotage factories and logging sites, and wildly drive their terrified workers. Something changed, however, and soon factoriums were transformed overnight into cemeteries, filled with bodies with ripped throats. However, one should not have thought that the inquisitors would tolerate this. One by one the Adepts of the Fang met death on the pyre, letting out one last howl behind the walls of flames. Only a handful of animants managed to survive, choosing a life of exile in the middle of the snowy wasteland, and each of them vowed vengeance.
