[2024.02.13] 1.25 Update: Love Lunacy 2024

Explorers of Archeon! We have received a lot of your questions about what will happen in Skylore in February. You don’t have to guess anymore, all the information on update 1.25 is in this post:

Love Lunacy

This year the event dedicated to the Valentine’s Day will take place from 13.02, 9:00 UTC to 27.02, 9:00 UTC. You may already be familiar with many of its elements, but this year there will be various changes and updates to make this event even more exciting! Let's take a closer look:

Themed Quests

Let us remind you that the Love Lunacy quest chain is available to all characters that have reached level 6 and gained access to the Adamantine Caves, and that Factorium, Holy Grove, Scorched Highlands and Somber Swamp locations contain thematic daily tasks. You will investigate the disappearance of spare parts in the Factorium and conduct an experiment to create a new mystical element.

Even if your character has already completed these quests last time, you will be able to complete them again this year. However, this time you won’t have to just defeat Shawron the Seducer in the open world, but gather your whole guild against him in the new Guild Hunt!

Guild Hunt

As promised, you didn’t have to wait long for the new season of the Guild Hunt, and the updated Shawron the Seducer will make your guild unite more than ever! With each new level Shawron will become increasingly stronger and gain additional effects and abilities. You can find a more detailed description of the mechanics of the Guild Hunt right in the game — a fully fledged manual has been added that describes all the details of the game mode. We also note that you can start the Hunt as soon as the season begins; you do not need to go through the quest line for it.

Gorgor Contracts

Gorgors have realized that one should not be alone when going to the Love Dimension — and they offer updated group Contracts during the event. If you have a contract in your inventory, you can follow a group member to the special location and fight off waves of monsters and bosses together with his comrades. The fluffy and savvy businessmen also took into account other issues — now Contracts are spent by each participant of the group, and event currency is credited directly to the character’s wallet, bypassing the inventory.

Awards
Of course, for participating in the event you will receive a variety of rewards, both familiar and completely new. Let's check them out:
Fifth Element

• Event currency “Fifth Element” can be obtained in different ways:
• for completing story and daily missions
• for completing event Gorgor Contracts
• for completing Guild Hunt levels.

With the Fifth Element it will be possible to purchase new Dark Cupid Chests, and the already familiar Vials of True Love. Hurry up to spend the event currency, because such feelings do not tolerate a long wait, a week after the end of the event (05.03, 9:00 UTC) the Fifth Element will disappear!

Costumes

We've already shown the True Love Champion's Plate Armor, and of course it would be a more than suitable attire for Love Lunacy. But besides it, Archeon researchers will have something to show off in - Dark Cupid’s Costume.

Also, by popular request, costumes from last year will return for the duration of the event - Passion Apostle Robes and the Body of Mini-E.R.O.S. can be obtained from the True Love Vial, and the Heartthrob Costume can be purchased in the store directly.

Consumables

Your favourite event items will again be available this year — clear space in your inventory for Candy Boxes, Keys to Your Heart, Vessels of Boundless Love and other consumables. Their mechanics have not changed and are described in the previous article: (link).

Please note that this time Candy Boxes, Keys to Your Heart, Vessels of Boundless Love, Tormenting Passion Pills, and Broken Hearts will be temporary and will disappear some time after the event ends, 04/05/2024, 12:00 UTC. Only Little Bits of Love can remain in your inventory after this date. We recommend not to wait for this, but have fun to the fullest, because these consumables can help you get further in Guild Raids and get even more rewards!

Dark Cupid's Chests and True Love Vials

The main valuable of the event will be Dark Cupid's Chests — exchange your earned “hearts” for it, and inside you can find true treasures, just look:

If your heart is aching for the True Love Vials, don't worry — they are back, and they can also be purchased with the Fifth Element. Let us recall their contents:

It will be possible to purchase them for another week after the end of the event, until 03/05, 9:00 UTC. Try to get all the desired rewards no later than this time.

Chat

Love should know no barriers — not even on the battlefield, so we also worked to update the game chat:

As you can see, you can now write in chat more quickly, without losing control over the character and their surroundings, and continue the battle!

Other Changes

• In stores, time-limited items will now be updated at a fixed time once a day, week, month or other set period, rather than starting from the time of the last purchase.
• Fixed a bug with hunters sometimes losing the ability to auto-attack.
• Chests with armor, accessories and weapons of the Destroyers from the League of Titans will now be stacked in the inventory in sets of 5, rather than one per slot.
• Boulders blocking passages on the first level of the Path of the Faceless now take 300 hits to break instead of 600.
• Official support for devices with less than 1.5 GB of RAM has been discontinued.
• Added a confirmation to the launch of guild quests.
• Fixed an issue where character names were not always released after deleting a hero.

where are the true love vials? I spent a whole year carrying boxes with fifth element currency on a gamble that it will be still used, and it is used, but I cant buy them in store!

First it is fine that you put a guild boss, but they lack the world boss for those players who do not have a guild, second say that the road of true love returned and I do not see it anywhere.Third, 5 daily contracts and spent for each player at the same time when each contract gives a maximum of 5000 gold seems to me a super big scam,In the previous event the Tikes gave 8 a day and each Tiket released more than 8000 gold, I think that they should better than the contracts and that they are spent individual for each player as opening them.

@Luighy99 Hello! Even though the boss is now in Guild Hunt mode, you can farm it more. Rewards from contracts were revised to make it more balanced. We understand that it can frustrate you, but it needed to be done.

The 2024 valentine's day event was copied from 2023 valentine's day event. it's so disappointing because completing contract require high level party members that are Hard to get on world chat. Very few people got costume this 2024 valentine's day event because we need to open 200 event box 🎁 in such a difficult event settings.
