Friends!

Each hero, when he takes the path of the Knower, pledges to study the nature of the world of Skylore and represent the interests of the Order. Combat is not the only area where the Knower can show his skills. Many of you record your observations in scrolls and share them with other heroes. Now is the time to challenge your knowledge!

It's been a year since the last guide contest. During this period there have been many changes in the game, so it's time to update the guides and add information about new mechanics!

Share your wisdom and experience gained during your adventures in Skylore, put the information into a guide, and earn nice rewards!

 

To participate, you need to:

• Write a guide on any game-related topic or game mechanics. It can be a guide to a particular class, strategy for battling a boss, tactics for PvP battles, tips on how to level up guilds, raids, anomalies, hunting or a compilation of tips and advice for beginners - share any valuable knowledge!    
• Publish your work as a separate post in this section of our forum - https://forum.skylore.com/index.php?/forum/119-guide-contest-—-2024/
• Provide your character's nickname in the thread title in the format: " Guide title I Character nickname".

The guide must be in text format. You can attach videos, but they will be considered only as an addition to the text, along with screenshots, diagrams and gif files.

Important: only one work will be accepted from each participant!

 

We will rate:

• The relevance of the information     
• Information value     
• Simplicity, clarity and integrity of presentation     
• Formatting and availability of accompanying materials

Don't forget to review and rate other contestants' guides. You'll probably learn something new or help someone else understand an aspect of the game in more detail.

Important clarification: you can use your own guides published before the start of the contest, but that did not participate in the previous contest, as entries. You must make sure that the information in them is still up-to-date and meets the contest requirements.

 

Rewards:

We understand that you may focus on different aspects of the game when preparing guides, and so that the evaluation of your work can be the most objective, we have formed three categories of awards in which we will distribute works and reward their authors:

1. Secrets of Mastery - 3,000 diamonds.     
2. Important Instructions - 1,500 diamonds.     
3. Useful Tips - 750 diamonds

Moreover, in summarizing the results, there may be additional and incentive prizes.

 

Timing:

The competition starts right now and entries will be accepted up to and including 18 March 9:00 UTC. After that we will need a few days to summarize the results. The results of the competition will be published no later than 22 March.

 

Clarifications:

• Your guide must not contain content that violates the community's rules of behaviour. This applies not only to the text, but also to the accompanying materials.
• You can add to and edit your guide even after publication, but only until the deadline for accepting entries. If you wish, you can also make changes after the results have been finalized, but outside of the competition.     
• After the contest is over, we will move the guides to the appropriate section of the forum so that any adventurer can access useful information.     
• Try to choose topics that don't have guides yet, but if you are sure that you can better cover an issue that has already been raised, go for it. In this case, do not forget that any plagiarism may affect the final score of the competition.
