Adamantine Grotto: the first PvPvE location in the game

Active participants of the previous testing stages of might remember the legendary location “Adamantine Grotto”. There heroes defeated monsters of the highest level in order to farm knowledge and gold quickly. Moreover, it was the only place for battles with the characters of hostile alliance in the open world.

Adventurers loved the cave very much: the last minutes of all the tests were always fun and noisy under the vaults of the Adamantine Grotto.

We are sure that the interest of players in this location will grow: it has expanded three times and now consists of a whole maze of caves, which are filled with many dangers and new adventures.

What is the Adamantine Grotto?

This is a huge location filled with elite monsters. Mostly these are sectarians who worship madness, and they certainly will not be happy with uninvited guests and aren't ready to part with their treasures.

However, fanatics are far from the only dangerous enemy in these halls. The thirst for profit led to the caves of the heroes of both alliances. Get ready for the toughest competition, because there’s something to fight for: chests of knowledge and gold are waiting for you, as well as new items — fragments of souls!

What to do in the Adamantine Grotto?

First of all, in the Adamantine Grotto it’s profitable to mine knowledge and gold. For this:

• Kill monsters

The territory is conditionally divided into regions, each of which creatures of different strength live in. The far you go into the caves, the more dangerous monsters you meet and higher rewards you get for defeating them.

• Defeat the Leaders

Monsters in each of the regions have their own leader — a mini-boss. To fight him you need to activate the rune pillar by killing the monsters around him. After all the runes are active, the boss will be ready to fight.

Monster leaders have enhanced characteristics and also differ in appearance. To fight them you definitely need your friends’ help, and a victory will bring you a more valuable reward.

• Complete daily quests

The main direction of the quests is the battle with heroes of a hostile alliance and the collection of fragments of souls, but there are also tasks to kill the leaders.

• Participate in PvP and collect fragments of souls

Fighting with warriors of the opposite alliance is not only for quests, drive and the spirit of rivalry. From defeated characters you can collect useful items — fragments of souls.

Where do the fragments come from? The fact is that the caves are saturated with dark magic, and its nature is destructive for heroes of Arinar. Each time, having suffered a defeat in the battle under the arches of the Adamantine Grotto, a hero loses part of his soul. Only in these lands at the death site of a hero an interactive object appears — a fragment of soul. Each fragment can be collected and used as a currency for new features in the game. You can collect up to 10 pieces of such fragments for once.

Fragments of souls that fall from the defeated characters of the Sentinels alliance can be only taken by the characters of the Legion, and vice versa. If fragments of souls have been in the inventory of the deceased hero already, then upon death some of them will remain in the inventory, enemy players will be able to pick up something, and the rest of them will be lost forever.

Why do you need fragments of soul?

New items will help to get:

• Valuable buffs — temporary hero’s enhancements that increase his characteristics. With them battles with monsters and players will become much easier. However, they will work only on the territory of the Adamantine Grotto.

• Access to the special farm area. In this land there are monsters, for the victory over which you can get much more rewards than in any region of the Adamantine Grotto. For the entrance you need to give 5 fragments of soul, but it will be worth it! However, be careful: upon death in this zone you will have to pay the gatekeeper again for the entrance in order to come back.

What is worth remembering

 

• Adamantine Grotto is a territory with PvP and PvE regimes simultaneously: you fight both monsters and players of the opposite alliance.
• There are 4 entrances to the Adamantine Grotto: 2 at the Goodwoods and another 2 at the Industrium.
• If a fragment of soul falls from the hero of the Sentinels, only members of the Legion can pick it up, and vice versa.
• You can get another fragment of soul from the killing of the same hero only after some time.
• The number of fragments of souls in the hero’s inventory will be strictly limited. When the limit is reached, it will be possible to collect new fragments only after spending or losing existing ones.
• In the future, the Adamantine Grotto will become even larger. But we'll talk about it another time.
