Administrators Ollie Posted November 13, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 13, 2020 It is easier to withstand all difficulties and dangers in Arinar with loyal friends, but there is another important thing that forms the basis of your stamina and strength - character equipment. The game has several sets of equipment, items of which differ in additional characteristics, appearance and method of obtaining. Let's take a closer look! What does equipment give you? First of all, upgrading equipment to more powerful items and improving them increases the Mastery of the character and allows you to raise to the next level — we’ve talked about this in detail in the last article. However, when worn, equipment also performs another important function — it increases the hero’s statistics. It is important to remember that items of different types of equipment have different main bonuses: Armour for all classes raises stats «Armor» and «Attack power». Accessories and an Alchemist’s flask raise the «Resistance» and «Ability power» stats. Weapons raise attack and ability damage depending on the damage type. Bows, swords and daggers raise physical damage, staves and converters — magical. Beyond the main characteristics, items of “Uncommon” quality and above have additional ones. The higher the quality, the more additional characteristics an item has. Also, in addition to improving the quality, the item can be strengthened, which will not only increase the mastery amount given by the item, but also increase the value of its main characteristic. Remember that the maximum boost level is limited by the item quality level. We talked in detail about improving the quality of items in our article. What sets of equipment exist? The quantity and quality of available sets of equipment directly depends on the level of your character. Items available to heroes of level 1 to 3. We will not go into detail about the starting items and ones obtained by level 2. The initial equipment and items from the Apprentice set have no alternative and are received through completing quests, killing monsters and from chests as a reward for gaining levels. Their maximum quality is “Common”, so they only raise main characteristics of the character. Items available to heroes of level 4 to 9. Apprentice Set The set is perfect for beginner adventurers who focus on exploring the world, fighting monsters, and completing quests. The items from the Apprentice set are available upon reaching level 4. You can get them for completing tasks, from killed monsters and from chests as a reward for reaching a new level. Maximum rarity level of the items in this set is “Uncommon”. Upon reaching it, the items gain an additional «Composure» stat, that increases the character’s damage to monsters of Weak, Regular or Strong power levels. Fighter Set The set will best show itself in the hands of PvP-lovers. Items from the Fighter set you can get along with gold from the chests earned by winning matches in the Arena, which opens at level 4. Maximum rarity level of the items in this set is “Uncommon”. Upon reaching it, the items gain an additional «Resilience» stat, that lowers the received attack damage and critical attack chance from players. Pioneer set The set is suitable for battles with dangerous monsters and bosses. Upon reaching the 6th character level, you have access to the Dungeons. Having defeated the main boss together with other heroes of your group, you will receive a chest with knowledge and items from the Pathfinder's set as a reward. The maximum rarity level for items in this set is Uncommon. Upon reaching it, items receive an additional characteristic «Might», which increases the character's damage against monsters with the power level of "elite", "boss" or "champion". This bonus is probably not very popular right now, but we have big plans for Dungeons and expansion of the game world. As soon as we implement them, the characteristic «Might» will be able to reveal itself in all its glory! Items available to heroes of level 10 After level 10, you will start getting items from 3 sets of equipment. Despite the fact that items from these sets have already familiar bonuses, the new sets have a fundamental advantage — the higher maximum rarity level that gives the equipment one more additional statistic. That gives equipment significant value: it helps raising Mastery and making your hero even stronger. Adept set Equipment with the «Composure» bonus. Can be obtained for completing quests and as a reward for killing monsters. Gladiator set Equipment with the «Resilience» bonus. Can be received from the chest for winning in Arena battles. Technician set Equipment with the «Might» bonus. Can be received from the chest for successfully completing dungeons of level 10 and above. Keep in mind: the dungeon level lowers to the minimum level of the members of your group, so if you’d like to receive a level 10 chest for your victory — gather a party of characters of at least level 10! The maximum rarity level of the items from theses sets is “Rare”. Upon reaching it, the equipment, in addition to «Composure», «Resilience» or «Might», receives one additional characteristic. The bonuses depend on the item type. Rare armor gets one of the following statistics: Health Dodge Class characteristic Armor Penetration — for characters with medium and heavy armor class Resistance Reduction — for characters with light armor class Ability Cooldown Accessories get one of the following statistics: Health Critical Hit Critical Hit Power Ability Cooldown Control Resistance Attack Speed Rating Weapons receive one of the following statistics: Dodge Critical Hit Critical Hit Power Attack Speed Rating Class characteristic Armor Penetration — for bows, swords and daggers Resistance Reduction — for staves and converters With that, Shields and Flasks receive one of the following statistics: Health Dodge Critical Hit Critical Hit Power Class characteristic Armor Penetration — for shields Resistance Reduction — for flasks You can learn the current values of these statistics in the character menu in the «Сharacteristic» section. In the future, new levels of item rarity will become available to you, upon reaching which the equipment will gain one more statistic from the list, determined randomly. And yes, now upon raising rarity level you can gain an unwanted characteristic without the option for rerolling it, but this can be changed, as the game is in the testing stage 😉 *** What you should remember: Improving rarity level of items gives its owner additional statistics. Items from sets with the rarity “Uncommon” and above have one unique bonus to characteristics that improve the hero in one of the aspects of the game. We can agree that being a hero with narrowly focused characteristics in an MMORPG is very difficult and not at all interesting, so we recommend that you have at least two sets of equipment in order to feel comfortable in different conditions and when playing different content! *** That’s all you need to know about the existing equipment in Skylore. If the game gains new kinds of equipment or the characteristic mechanics change, we will definitely tell you all the details. We will continue sharing with you the information about different aspects of the game and useful guides from players, as well as answering the most popular questions. If you’d like to know something or encountered difficulties in the game — we are awaiting for your questions in the comments, we will try to reply to everyone and help! Have fun playing and we’ll see you in Skylore!
